The Ultimate MIDRIDER seat is designed to sit the driver at the same height and the same distance from the handlebars as the seating position of the Honda® OEM stock seat. The Ultimate Honda® VTX F MIDRIDER seat is designed to sit you in the seat, not on it. The MIDRIDER seat is 16 inches wide. There is no driver backrest available for the 1800 F MIDRIDER model. The passenger seat is designed to fit flush with the driver seat lower back support area which gives the driver 7 1/2 inches of lower back support.

Your stock passenger seat will fit with the Ultimate VTX 1800 F MIDRIDER seat. Your stock rider seat will not fit with the Ultimate passenger seat.

Ultimate MIDRIDER Seat

– The 1800 F model MIDRIDER VTX seat is 16 inches wide and is designed to sit you the same height as your stock seat and the same distance to the handlebars as stock VTX seats.

Ultimate Passenger Seat

Ultimate passenger VTX 1800 F seats are 12 inches wide and mount right onto your VTX, with mounting hardware included. No modifications are required, unlike other custom motorcycle seats.

Ultimate Sissy Bar Pad

The Ultimate Sissy Bar Pad measures 12″ wide x 8″ high and sits your passenger 10 degrees straighter than the stock pad, which helps eliminate back fatigue on those long rides. The Ultimate Sissy Bar Pad includes stainless steel screws and fits on your Standard or Deluxe Hondaline sissy bar, or any other brand bar.

Water Resistant But Not Waterproof

Made of durable premium marine vinyl that looks and feels like leather, Ultimate vinyl wears long and looks new longer, and is almost maintenance free.

Ultimate seats are water resistant but not waterproof.

Most motorcycle seats are built with a sheet of plastic between the seat cover and the foam. This prevents the water from going through the cover stitching into the foam.  However, the sheet of plastic tends to hold all the heat in the seat cover, so Ultimate does not use this method. Ultimate custom motorcycle seats will disperse the seat cover heat through the foam, giving your back side a cooler ride.

The tradeoff for this is that Ultimate seats are water resistant, but not waterproof. A vinyl seat will let water in through the stitching.

A rain cover can be used to prevent water from seeping through the stitches into the comfort foam of your seats. We recommend you cover your custom motorcycle seats with a waterproof cover when sitting or riding in the rain.  The covers will also protect your seat from the sun’s damaging rays.
