The Ultimate Indian® Roadmaster® MIDRIDER seat will sit you at the same distance to the handlebars as the stock O.E.M. seat and retains the stock seating height. The driver seat is 16 inches wide. The Ultimate MIDRIDER seat will suit you if your reach in the riding position on your stock seat gives you some bend in your elbows.

The stock seat on your Roadmaster® is a 1-piece driver/passenger system. Ultimate Roadmaster® seats were designed as 2-piece systems. This allows the Indian® Quick Detach Roadmaster® Trunk and the Ultimate passenger seat to be removed to set your Roadmaster® up as a solo bike.

The Heated Seat option is available.

For the Roadmaster®, we offer both heated and non-heated seats. Heated seats plug into the factory Indian® accessory plug on the Roadmaster®. Ultimate heated seats for the Roadmaster® are activated by remote control. There are two separate switches that control front and rear independently.

If at first, you only want to purchase a solo seat or solo seat with driver backrest and you plan on purchasing a heated passenger seat at a later date – you must select the appropriate driver seat. The heat option can not be added to a seat after it’s been manufactured.

NOTE: If you have the Indian® Concert Audio Kit (Part# 2879816) installed, the amp must be relocated from the factory suggested mounting location.

NOTE: WILL NOT fit with California Side Car Trike Kit.

Correct nose angle design will prevent you from sliding forward on your Ultimate Indian® seat, so you will sit in the seat, not on it.

Ultimate MIDRIDER Indian® Roadmaster® Seat

Ultimate Removable Rider Backrest

– Pad measures 7″ high by 10″ wide by 1.5″ thick and is built using the same memory foam as the Ultimate Indian® seat.
– Infinite tilt to match your back angle.
– Folds down forward for easy on and off motorcycle seats.
– Adjustment forward and back is more than 2 inches.
– Adjusts with a thumb screw while you’re riding.
– No need to remove your Ultimate Indian® seat or use a wrench.

Ultimate Passenger Seat

– 16.5” wide for all models, with comfort to spare.
– Fits with the Indian® Quick Detach Trunk.
– Too wide to be used with the Indian® Quick Release Sissy Bar.

NOTE: The Ultimate Roadmaster® passenger seat was designed to fit with the Indian® Quick Detach Trunk; however, it is too wide to be used with the Indian® Quick Release Sissy Bar. Since the Ultimate Roadmaster® seat was designed as a 2-piece system, we also offer an optional matching passenger seat which is narrower and longer that can be used in combination with the Ultimate driver seat and will accomodate the Indian® Quick Release Sissy Bar. Please specify at checkout whether you have the Indian® Quick Detach Trunk or the Indian® Quick Release Sissy Bar.

NOTE: If you use the wrong Ultimate Roadmaster® passenger seat with an Indian® Quick Release Sissy Bar, it will damage the seat and WILL NOT be returnable. Again, please specify at checkout whether you have the Indian® Quick Detach Trunk or the Indian® Quick Release Sissy Bar.

Each Ultimate Indian® seat shown on our web site is made of durable Ultimate marine vinyl.

Water Resistant But Not Waterproof

Made of durable premium marine vinyl that looks and feels like leather.  Ultimate vinyl wears long and looks new longer, and is almost maintenance free.

Ultimate seats are water resistant but not waterproof.

Most motorcycle seats are built with a sheet of plastic between the seat cover and the foam. This prevents the water from going through the cover stitching into the foam.  However, the sheet of plastic tends to holds all the heat in the seat cover, so Ultimate does not use this method. Ultimate custom motorcycle seats, including seats, will disperse the seat cover heat through the foam, giving your butt a cooler ride.

The tradeoff for this is that Ultimate seats are water resistant, but not waterproof. A vinyl seat will let water in through the stitching.

A rain cover can be used to prevent water from seeping through the stitches into the comfort foam of your seats.
